As we get ready to celebrate our 10th birthday, we’re both amazed at how quickly the time has flown and proud of how well we’ve navigated our successes and challenges. This was mainly due to our multi-skilled and highly-talented team. A team consisting of in-house staff, remote workers and freelancers from all over the world is one of the keys to our success. Another is our intellectual curiosity: we never stop learning, exploring, challenging, and growing.
And with growth in mind, we’re excited to announce that Ignitec is expanding. We’ve recruited two new talents to complement the in-house team, and we’re excited to see the collaborations and new developments this will bring forth.
James is a hardware engineer joining us from Renishaw, seeking challenging and diverse projects. Like most of the team, he has a broad skill set, including firmware and software development. This is what we look for: multidisciplinary designers and engineers who can understand the big picture of our projects and hardware design.
Sowmiya is a recent hardware graduate with an MSc in Microelectronic and Communications Engineering from Northumbria University who has a keen interest in wireless technologies. We look forward to supporting her on the first step of her career and are eager to see her talents develop and implement them into action.
Ignitec is a multidisciplinary design and technology company – our team reflects that. We’re multicultural, span various time zones, and are dedicated to nurturing our spirit of collaboration, tenacity, and creativity – which is an integral part of everything we do.
Shared values are important to us, but the unique perspectives that each person brings to the brainstorming table are just as important: we wouldn’t have come this far otherwise. Recruiting new talent helps to keep us from getting too comfortable in our zone, and with James and Sowmiya on board, we’re sure to be kicking things up a notch – or two – soon.
